Accessibility and Usability Consulting

Accessible Information and communications technologies logo
Vision Office pioneers in accessibility and usability consulting in Canada and around the world. Since 1998, Vision Office has produced accessible websites for organizations like the United Nations in New York and Bangkok, Pacific Northern Gas, BC Health Services, and the International Labor Office.

Website Accessibility and Usability

Vision Office can assist in ensuring your websites reach the widest possible audiences, through:

  • Expert Accessibility and Usability Review. A review of your website will determine good practices and barriers that prevent differently-abled audiences from appropriately benefiting from the website.
  • Usability and/or Accessibility Testing. Your website is tested by different typical users. In accessibility testing, your website is also tested by a person with a visual impairment using assistive devices.
  • Workshops for Webmasters. Workshops or one-on-one sessions with web professionals to help them understand and implement good accessibility and usability practices.
  • Web Development. Vision Office can also develop your website for you. Good accessibility and usability practices are built into each web project led by Vision Office. See Web Development.
