The last of three workshops was conducted in Cebu City, the birthplace
of Christianity in the Philippines, on October 18-20, 2005. All the
participants were webmasters and technology coordinators. There were
10 attendees from universities and colleges, and 13 from various regional and city
government offices.
The workshop included a tour of a facility that hires deaf
data-encoders, the city government's offices, and the historic parts
of the city.
The workshop was also visited by Commision on ICT (CICT)
Commissioner Virgilio L. Peña and the technology coordinator for
Bangkok-based Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD).
