Web Accessibility for producers is not rocket science. It is simply the application of good HTML programming practices from the start. By providing accessible web pages, the producer not only makes the pages viewable to persons with disabilities, but also to a wider worldwide audience that use slower Internet connections.

This presentation is based on the online paper Accessibility on the Internet hosted by the United Nations Programme for Persons with Disabilities web site. One can get an outline of Web Accessibility using the slides of the presentation on 16 December 1998 at the United Nations in New York.
